  1. Two years ago I downloaded and took hours making sure my engine was not involved in the recall. The recent interest and article in the magazine got me to look the 485 pages over again. It took me three days but I was able to eliminate all of the chassis except the 277 built on the Freightliner XC chassis. I now have a excel spread sheet with three categories, engine serial number, chassis VIN, and registered owner. I further developed that sheet into three sheets which are sorted by each category. I would be happy to send them or post them for other members to look at. I cannot blame anyone for not looking or taking the time to sift through 485 pages which are not sorted in any order. 2. Roger, depending on your coach manufacturer the Norcold Refrigerator outlet is not on an inverter powered circuit. The ice maker is powered by an inverter circuit. While on the road either unplug the ice maker and plug the refrigerator into the ice maker outlet OR purchase a "cube" outlet from Walmart. It is a small three outlet device which plugs into the inverter powered outlet. Then you can plug both the ice maker and the refrigerator into the inverter powered outlet. So when traveling with the inverter ON the refrigerator will be powered by the inverter as well as the ice maker. If you dry camp often you will need to either move the refrigerator plug back to the original outlet OR MANUAL the refrigerator over to LP while dry camping. If you leave the refrigerator ON inverter power the coach batteries will be quickly be depleted.
  3. I have been waiting to see if an owner of any of the Spartan chassis coaches with the EPA07 engine weres going to jump in. The Cummins ISC is available with a two speed compression brake. I know several friends with Tiffin Phaetons on Spartan chassis with them.
