I suspect the heater valve is stuck/broken. It shuts off/ turns on hot water when the heat/cool control is used. What happens when you select max-cool instead of normal cooling? JIC you find it helpful: https://proairllc.com/pub/media/pdfs/et5-Dash_All_Electric_HVAC_System_Service_Manual.pdf and: https://www.btrac.com/documents/svc-manual-revision-i-feb-2011.pdf MH charge information: https://www.proairllc.com/pub/media/pdfs/eti-Refrigerant Charge Information - R134A Systems.pdf

Absorption vs. Residential refrigerator

I was replying to f433951's comment about amp-draw; I have a 1999 Norcold that still works great. -

The motor and pump are held together with 3 bolts, that's what works loose and allows fuel leakage. On the ISC/ISL block the lift pump is above the starter, you can feel it but not see the pump. The ISC and ISL use the same block, it's stroked to increase C.I. from 8.3 to 8.9L. Since I can feel the fittings I should be able to get a wrench on each fitting from below to make sure they're tight, and also check the pump bolts JIC. UPDATE: Every fuel connection is tight, no visible signs of diesel fuel anywhere on the engine, and it has not repeated that single occurrence during 3 day-trips. -

2A @ 120VAC = 20A @ 12VDC, when AC voltage drops below 120V amp-draw increases. -

Thanks for the suggestion I'll do that when the temperature subsides, right now over 90° and high humidity every day. It's rough on an old man with COPD. Next week will be in the mid 80"s and lower humidity - or so the local weather girl says. -
Thanks for the information, now I know what to do If my Xantrex RS2000 begins acting weird.

have you contacted https://visonerv.com/ yet? Beforewarned, they are expensive, you'll pay close to the same as for a new part.

Clarification; It is not a warranty, it is by law an extended service contract with terms and conditions in fine print. That's what get people upset when a claim is denied, they didn't read the fine print prior to signing nor did they follow the terms and conditions for filing a claim. Somewhat like health insurance for humans.

Back when W was considering buying Newmar Mr. Matt Miller said no-one in the family wanted to assume control, or so I read in 2019, so he decided to sell.

Cummins Great Plains replaced the lift pump, fuel distributor module and transient suppressor in July 2020. 1999 Spartan chassis, rest is in my sig. I can view the lift pump by opening the door and sliding in atop the engine without having to remove the engine hatches. That's how Cummins replaced the lift pump, plus removed the starter to access the pump from below. BTW, turned out the old lift p;ump only needed the 3 bolts tightened to stop the gasket leak between pump and 12V motor, but Cummins Great Plains service manager said they would not work that way. -
Absorption vs. Residential refrigerator

Obviously your (Norcold 1200XX series?) refrigerator works, just not well. Are the two circulating fans running on the back of the refrigerator when the fridge is in operation? If not you must pull the fridge from the cabinet enough to access the fans and the controller. reference: Norcold service manual; and for re-installing your fridge, Norcold installation manual Often mfgrs. do not properly install an absorption refrigerator chimney and it will not cool correctly. Rather than pull my fridge I just added an optional blower-type fan when i installed a Fridge Defend/ARP protection unit. After I installed the ARP unit and option blower fan I had to reduce the cool setting to prevent freezing the milk, and my beer. Above all, an absorption refrigerator must be within 6° front-to-back, and 3° side-to-side as looking in the fridge. -
It costs nothing to file an appeal with Safeco and request it be elevated to the next higher level. BTW, in my opinion it takes more than a few weeks for wood to rot from a one-time event.

Carl I went underneath today, couldn't find any clean or wet spots in the vicinity. The only fuel stuff there is the secondary fuel filter, which also has a WIF sensor and drain in the bottom. The primary fuel filter is at the extreme rear of the chassis frame, so it couldn't have been the source. I started the engine and let it high-idle for perhaps 10 minutes, when i shut it off there was no fuel draining. I'm wondering if the secondary fuel filter also has an automatic drain that is activated when the sensor detects water in the secondary fuel filter??? I know the primary filter must be manually drained, I'll do that tomorrow morning when its not 95° and 89% humidity yet. -
Since Winnebago stated Newmar will operate as a stand-alone company, I wonder who is next in line?

Got home, shut down engine, walked back to unhook truck, smelled diesel. Looked underneath and a pencil-sized stream of fuel was draining from somewhere in the vicinity of the lift pump. It stopped after approx. 20 seconds. -

Once a desk clerk asked if our MH was new, I replied "it was once" she never responded, just pushed a registration form to me. It's all about appearance.

Before spending money, remove all 120VAC power sources, then open your ATS and tighten all electrical screw connections. Then do the same with your main breaker panel. If that doesn't solve anything, you only lost time and effort, but you then know they are tight. Things loosen in these rolling earthquakes on our wonderfully smooth roads.

Welcome! I sorry your sign didn't last, have you contacted member services to discuss this? Mine is also plastic, I attached it with double-sided tape when i joined and it still looks new. I do store it in my garage though. The die-cast aluminum signs had to be either mounted on the ladder or screwed onto the cap.

Wayne I couldn't get on the internet at Shipshewana so I'm too late; we always stay at Musicland RV park in Branson. It's 1 block off highway 77 (hope that''s right) near the West end of the strip.. -
Most any heavy duty truck repair shop will be qualified to perform the work, including a total alignment. A local HDT repair shop aligned my MH for $300. The rear axle was out of alignment by 3/4". Driving was vastly improved and I'm averaging 1/2 mpg more.

This is referred to as the radiator sandwich because it can contain as many as 5 cooling- radiators; engine coolant, charged-air cooling radiator, transmission cooling radiator, hydraulic oil cooling radiator, (and if separate) power steering cooling radiator. Between these radiators exists approx. a 1" gap that easily collects leaves and oil droplets from the engine collect dirt and road grime.
