Interesting thought. Cause?
I guide my RV where I wish to stop without steering wheel jerking left and right. I am not loaded differently than other trips. More thinking then locate a front end specialist near Denver.
Thank you for your response.

Three times a sever harmonic oscillating roll occurred.
The first time a single right lane through a construction area. Speed 50 MPH. Break away concrete along the far right road edge caused a front end oscillating event. My initial thought is a flat tire with rubber walking off the wheel. I came to a complete stop which stopped the event.
The second time it occurred when a truck/trailer cut in front at high speed exiting. The truck breeze alone set this action in play. Again I had to competently stop to end the oscillating.
Third time is after I installed new shocks on the front. This time the event began when driving through a major city where the road rise and fall left to right started the oscillating event. I made five lanes to the right shoulder where a complete stop was required before settling to normal.
Any causal factors you may think of is appreciated.

Thank you each again for your input. No I have not changed the wiring nor added any appliances. At the junction box, under the black tape is a brass connector that screw clamps the wires together, followed by what appears to be insulation tape, covered by black electric tape. When I get back to my RV I will look at the Generator connection before taking it to Onan Cummings. With your excellent comments I have several things to check. Thank you each for taking time to respond. Much appreciated........................

I flew home leaving my RV in Kansas City. Onan Cummings could not get to it while I was traveling. I am flying back 13 August. I feel a wire is loose shorting the red wire single leg. The generator breaker was thrown on that leg. The breaker felt soft when I reset it. In addition I accidentally felt a tingle with my hand when touching the generator platform. I may have a look for a bare wire at the generator connection. If I see nothing then Onan will need to repair it. I am guessing they would be better than an RV repair shop.
In the multiple years of ownership I have not had an issue of running both A/C units with the generator.
Thank you each for responding. You are very kind to offer advise.

I connect to 50 amp shore power with no problems operating all appliances including 2 a/c units. When I operate the Onan generator only the forward a/c operates. When the rear a/c is switched on one of two things happen, the generator shuts down or the generator breaker snaps to off. No house breakers have ever shut off when using the generator nor when plugged in. In this 2002 Georgie Boy the electrical plug is either plugged into shore power or plugged into the generator. So I am looking at six foot of wiring, generator to plug. I have physically removed the plug and junction box from the generator and found nothing disconnected, nothing burnt, nothing shorted. Do any of you have a clue what may be happening? Such as a common Onan 5500 generator issue that may cause an internal short?

Where may I find a wiring diagram for a 2001 Ford F-53 specific to the ABS Brake Module system?

The other Module on this same page is listed for the 2001 to 2004 model years, but it is discontinued.
Rich.
Ford parts counter cannot provide additional abs control modules numbers. They did say the last two letters may be removed. Those letters are a manufactures stamping thus, 4C3Z-2C219-CA. i belief one is located in New Jersey. Removed from an E-Super Duty with part number 4C3Z-2C219-CAR. I will know following this holiday break.

Were not talking about adding gear or motor oil to an automatic transmission it was just the wrong spec automatic transmission fluid. After you spoke to the customer it was usually something an auto parts store told them they could use or some snake oil product that got dumped in to improve MPG's. Easy rebuild but expensive. I had an engineer tell me "today's transmissions are like your body, see what happens if you get the wrong blood put into your body"
Do you recommend the transmission be pumped rather than removing the pan? I will make an appointment after Christmas for your recommendation.

Then again; this Kelsey-Hayes 310 model says it fits GM models.https://www.ebay.com/itm/Kelsey-Hayes-310-ABS-Module-96-2002-Chevy-Blazer-S10-GMC-Sonoma-Jimmy/202540022600?hash=item2f28537b48:g:WnkAAOSwGqxbG~G2:rk:1:pf:0&vxp=mtr
Some sources say the K-H 310 w/same casting# is the same regardless of the vehicle it came from, and it is not re-build-able.
Another possible source: https://truckpartsinventory.com/abs-control-modules-kelsey-hayes-parts
Colaw does not have it.

Yes it is XL-3 and the parts counter man at Lakeland Ford assures me it is designed for transmissions. Having said that and double checking the product use I do not object to having the transmission pumped again.

Wishing you each a great big thank you and a wonderful Christmas. I am out of town a couple of days.

Thank you each for expert input. I appreciate your time and effort.
Transmission was pumped by Gator Ford of Tampa at 38K it now shows 58k. Danny's transmission shop recommended the Ford Motorcraft product. First try the motorcraft product and if it does not work then consider repairing.
Only dash light is ABS related.
Nice input regarding miss-firing. Would I not feel that out of overdrive?
The shudder seems not to be speed related. I can gain any speed I wish, out of overdrive without shudder, then engage overdrive with the same resulting shudder, 50, 60, 70.
Will I harm the transmission by driving across country not using overdrive. I realize gas consumption will be greater.

Shudder, does this happen at low speeds turning right turns?
Shudder happens straight driving with light or heavy acceleration. No shudder in any other gears. Danny's transmission repair shop recommended I purchase the Ford Motorcraft

He has the 4R100 in this year, this was the altered infamous E4OD, (not a good reputation) that gave most heart burn. The 4R100 was introduced in the late 90’s as a fix to the E4OD, from the outside they look identical other than the transmission lines were 3/8 vs the older had 5/16 and the cooler bypass during warmups. Other wise they look identical, sharing the same transmission pan.
that needs flushed with something like this; yeah, that’s in the corner of my garage
Transmission was pumped by Gator Ford of Tampa. Mileage at the time was 38K. It now has 58k.

Interesting article. Thank you. It only happens in overdrive and is continual under power load even very slight power increase.

Got to ask, how many miles on the Ford, How many miles on the Trans fluid, What is the condition of the spline connection and the universal joints?
What is the status of the torque converter? Does it shutter in or out of lockup mode ? Most transmission torque converters are locked up by second gear.
What Transmission is installed?
What is the transmission hydraulic pressure readings?
Rich.
No vibration in other gears.
58K miles
I feel no torque converter shutter.
Transmission installed, will check.
Transmission hydraulic pressure readings, don't know how to get a reading.
On recommendation of a local transmission shop I purchased a Ford Additive. I drove 55 miles and the shutter remains. Maybe that is not sufficient mileage so I will take a longer trip to see if the Additive helped performance.

Ford 2001. Anyone experience a shudder in overdrive? One mechanic thinks changing the torque-converter would solve this issue. Ford sold me a small tube of, Motorcraft additive friction modifier, which did not work, or maybe I have not given it sufficient time. Any ideas is appreciated.

Thank you for responding.
Yes tried, Napa. Could not find any web suppliers that carried this unit. One site however, drops the F-53 showing it as a 550 Super Duty. Wondering if the parts are interchangeable. I also tried this web site, https://circuitboardmedics.com/kelsey-hayes-325-abs-module-repair-c0265-ebcm/
Right about driving without ABS. I grew up that way. I prefer the ABS system be in working order.
