rlbarkleyii Report post Posted May 2, 2017 Purchased Dometic Model 9100 awnings at Campers World in Macon GA, about two years ago to replace OEM one-Step awnings damaged in storm. Campers World did the installation. Recently the awnings seem to bind when rolling up about 3/4 the way up. Sounds like it is the support hardware that is making the noise. Sometime the thermal breaker in the motor will stop the motor for a while until it cools. Also the rear vertical bracket does not return to the same position as the front bracket, it sticks out about half an inch. Anyone have any ideas as to the binding and how to fix it? hermanmullins Report post Posted May 2, 2017 Barkley, Been awhile since we have heard from you. Hope all is well. Have you spoken to Dometic Tech service. It seems to me that it may just be an adjustment that may have come loose or never adjusted correctly in the first place. Good luck and hope you solve your issue.
