Amherst MA Area Campgrounds Recommendations

Our son will be attending University of Massachusetts and have been looking online at campgrounds.  

We will probably be visiting a few times a year in our Class A motorhome.  

Right now we have a spot at Northampton KOA, but would like to know if anyone has stayed there or has other recommendations?

Take a look at rvparksreviews.com . There you can check out the mentioned park and possible others in the same area. Make sure the reviews are current and not several years old.

Good luck.  I visit family in Central MA and I'm lucky I can park in my brother's driveway.  Few and far between good campground in that area.

For Amherst I did see on that had an 8.2 rating in Bernardston. It is called Travelers Woods and is about 30 miles North of Amherst. Munson, MA has one about 25 miles South.  As Herman pointed out, check RV Park Reviews
