wolfe10 Report post Posted May 5, 2018 arthur, Welcome to the FMCA Forum. Please tell us what chassis you have and whether a Class A or C. Your answer will likely depend on chassis rather than "house".

The Alumi Light was built on an F-53 chassis. Think your high / low dimer switch is located on the steering column and has a mechanical link connected to a switch mounted on the column. Ford supplied the high /low wiring. Do you have the owners manual for the coach? Information on the F-53 chassis electrical is weak, but a Ford dealer should be able to help. Here is a link to some headlight dimmer switches used in the 1988 model year trucks. https://www.partsgeek.com/ss/?ssq=Dimmer+switch&make=ford&year=1988&model=F+Super+Duty Rich. Will do some digging into the old library. That info. is not loaded on the computer. That makes things a little different then a Ford Chassis. The information I have on you model anf make mentioned the Ford chassis was used, but coach builders did use both in the time frame. Rich.
dickandlois Report post Posted June 26, 2018 arthur.jeck, The P-30 does not use a relay - it has a floor mounted dimmer switch and is located on the floor left of the steering column. This is a link to what the switch looks like and the same switch was used from 1975 to 1990. https://www.partsgeek.com/kmg68gg-chevrolet-p30-headlight-dimmer-switch.html?utm_source=shopzilla&utm_medium=pf&utm_content=ttc&utm_campaign=PartsGeek+ShopZilla&fp=pp&utm_term=Chevrolet+Headlight+Dimmer+Switch The OEM connector / socket # 8900855. The center terminal is the common wire color Green, The high beam side wire is Yellow and the low beam side wire is Tan. Rich.
