South Alabama to Williamsport, PA

Google maps gives 3 routes to the LLWS in PA. What is the least mountainous route to take & suggestions on places to stay along the way?  We have never been there but are excited to do something we always dreamed of. Any suggestions about the LLWS will help also.

I am familiar with this route, if you have a time constraint this would be the quickest and not a bad ride either. 

I-59 to I-24 to I-75 to I-40 to I-81, run 81 all the way into PA to RT15N (exit 65) (just north of Harrisburg) and follow RT15N into Williamsport PA. I have run that route a few times (not at the same time) in our coach towing our jeep with no issues.

Joe, Like you I have driven the same Rt. a number of times, My personal favorite by far. However! there is a large construction job on the North side of Selingsgrove and that is a slow 5 miles, but taking 15 North to Williamsport will put you right in South Williamsport. The home of the Little League World series.  

That time of the year ! By chance are you going to watch the games?
