goose47 Report post Posted September 16, 2019 My owners manual states that my 2018 Chevy Sonic, with the automatic, is towable 4 down. I heard that may not be the case for the 1.4 litre TURBO. jlef123 Report post Posted October 1, 2019 I tow a 2016 non-turbo Chevy Sonic 4 wheels down with no problems. Can not vouch for the turbo engine but also understood that GM does not recommend flat towing the turbo engine. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
