StellersJay Report post Posted May 3, 2010 The Kentucky Horse Park just north of Lexington, KY is a great spot. It has a nice camp ground (no sewer at the sites, but there is one in the camp ground). garykd Report post Posted May 3, 2010 Hi Laurie, Welcome to the FMCA forum. Bear with me on this suggestion. Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky come together in this area. Consider this: 1. The Creation Museum. Go to http://creationmuseum.org/ to read about it. Just southwest of Cincinnati, just off the beltway (I275, exit 11). 2. Camp at Little Farm On The River RV Park in Rising Sun, Indiana (812-438-4500). Just north of Rising Sun. Go to http://www.littlefarmresort.com/index2.html to read about the CG. 3. About a mile from the CG is Grand Victoria Casino. Got to http://grandvictoria.com/en/ to read about it. 4. The Courtyard is a nice restaurant in Rising Sun. Go to http://www.rscourtyard.com/ to read about it. It is right in historic downtown Rising Sun. #1 is about 30 miles from #2, 3 and 4. #s 2, 3 and 4 are all within 5 miles of each other. rossboyer Report post Posted May 4, 2010 FMCA has a campground at 3590 Roundbottom Road in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a member you may stay there 2 nights a month for free with full hookups. $20 per extra night. The Creation Museum is not far away. I think the easiest way to get to the campground is from I-275 on the southeast side. Take interchange 63B / Hwy 32 to the north. When you get to Roundbottom road turn right and the entrance is on the right just past the railroad track. Rarely used by trains. Really quiet.
