dschmees@coxinet.net Report post Posted May 4, 2010 We are traveling to CA this summer and are wanting to stay in the Yosemite NP Area for a few days. I have looked at reviews of parks in the area and I have yet to find any that have good reviews. Maybe it's just the complainers that post, but I don't even see good reviews for KOA's, and they are usually nice even though they are more expensive. So if you have some experience with an RV park that is good to stay in with decent access to Yosemite then please let me know. Thanks

kalynzoo Report post Posted May 4, 2010 I've stayed at Yosemite/Maraposa KOA 3 times, last about 2 years ago. Very nice and clean. Friendly. Although it is about 20 minutes from park entrance, there is only forested road along the way, so the drive is lovely. I use RVparkreviews.com for public comment. jimsreyes Report post Posted May 26, 2010 Ok we have over the past 8 years periodically stayed at KOA Yosemite RV South and have found it very accomodating and pleasant. We have relatives that live in Fresno, Ca so we stay at this KOA and love it! Only 30 amps even though they have some sites in the the N section that seem to have what looks like 50 amp. Rustic and beautiful my dogs love it! close to the casino also although we are not much of gamblers! I would recommend this place without hesitation. Enjoy life!
