Spartan and Freightliner Instrumentation common points

After looking over information and PDF files, there are some common items and systems between the Spartan an Freightliner  X series Chassis. The Instrument panel or dash can look total different, but  the Madallian system was used by both when it comes to reading ECM fault codes and setting up other systems.

The  2 PDF files cover the common information. The biggest difference is, one is an owners manual and the Other is more a service manual. 

The Freightliner manual is more for the owners and the Spartan information is in the realm of the service tech. It comes down to knowing when to hold them and when to fold them as the song goes.

This information is for those who love there classic coach and much of the information for them is disappearing.

Thanks for the information! I'm sure owners will greatly benefit from those pdf's. Sadly my chassis is far too old to use the information, all gauges are analog.
