hermanmullins Report post Posted April 9, 2020 Cindygail, Welcome to the Forum, I would start first with the base plates that go on the vehicle. They are made for specific tow bars but they should be considered as for ease for hooking up and stowing when not in use. That decided you will decide what weight capacity of bar. After you have picked out the tow bar and base plated the decide on a braking system and lights. Then last but not least you have to decide on whether you order the parts and install them yourself, have someone else install then or takes it someplace and have a turnkey job done.
