hermanmullins Report post Posted August 23, 2021 A friend of mine had an issue with his single lever shower while in Iowa. He took it apart and found he could blow through the cold side and it was clear. He did the same on the hot side and got nothing. We took each side apart and found nothing. Put it back together and was able to blow through each side. Put it back in an had both hot and cold water flow. All we could come up with was the rubber seat may have been stuck and we guess we broke it loose when we took it apart. Problem solved for now. TheZrving Report post Posted September 2, 2021 Took mixing valve out today (was not easy where it was located).Replaced with new one..Problem fixed I will disassemble and clean with vinegar to keep on hand for spare. Also notice inlet screen had fair amount of build up on it, which would explain low flow. Thanks for everyones input
rossboyer Report post Posted September 2, 2021 I think that is what I stated needed to be done. Yes, manufacturers do not make easy access to be able to repair. Thank you for stating what fixed your problem.
