2psquared Report post Posted January 22, 2023 Water in heater plenty hot. Just getting tepid water in discovery 08. Thought it was checkalve but now I am not sure it has one. It does have a mixing valve and think the screens might be clogged. Just looking for a heads up before I decide if I can fix it or have a repair done. If the eco-thermostat is allowing the water temperature to reach 130-140°F it is working OK, if the water temperature, as measured when draining a bit into a cup already containing a thermometer is lower than 120-130°, the thermostat should first be checked to insure it is lying flat against the tank, otherwise it should be replaced.
