C-254940 Report post Posted April 28 Anyone out there towing a Mercedes Benz GLB250 FWD? Wondering about how to deal with the electronic parking brake. Thanks
elkhartjim Report post Posted April 28 Towing should be covered in the owners manual.
rayin Report post Posted April 30 The owners manual should have a paragraph titled "recreational towing". It is the final word for this, online towing guides may contain errors.
campcop Report post Posted May 5 Some of these newer cars with the automatic parking brake cannot be towed where it locks when park. However there may be a work around if you can find and remove the fuse for that feature. I’d be very careful though. You might be able to leave it in a gear other than park. Hopefully your manual will address this.
five Report post Posted May 6 (edited) Don't know what year your MB is, but most new cars have gone to the new CVT (continuously variable transmission), and FWD models cannot be towed four down. As noted above, your best bet is read what the owner's manual says....and not what the salesman says. Edited May 6 by five
