My RV has starting issues..It will not start when turning the ignition..Everything comes on but no start..I have all new batteries.. I can start it by jumping from the starter..What do I need to check? Solenoid? Starter Relay? Ignition switch? Please help as we wanted to take a short trip but are hesitant.. sfroese Report post Posted October 10 Hi, this is the FMCA moderator. When you state that you can "start it by jumping from the starter", do you mean it will start if you jump the solenoid or what? rayin Report post Posted October 20 The 2 small wires on the solenoid should have constant 12v one and 12v volts on the other when key it turned to start, and constant 12+ on one of the large battery cables. when key is in start position both large battery cable terminals should measure 12v.
