Is highway 70 between Las Crues and Roswell,NM. suitable to drive a 40ft RV?

You will have no problem in yout 40 footer. I have traveled this route many time but was in a car. However when leaving Las Cruces on 70 you will travel through the White Sands Missle Range. Some times, if they are having a test, you might have to wait for an hour or so. You will go through Alamogordo. Beautilful city. Next you will go through Tularosa. Small town where you turn right (East). You will go through the Medcalero Indian Reservation. If you can stop and visit the church there. Sorry I can't remember the name but it has a great history. Then into Rudioso, nice town, race track and casinos. Then on to Roswell. All of the roads are very good. There are some curves but none that are very sharpe. It is a nice trip with lots to see.
