connitaylor Report post Posted May 23, 2011 We are going to Idaho in late June or early July. Where are your favorite sites to see, RV parks to stay in, roads to avoid and should we take a river trip?
0 garykd Report post Posted May 23, 2011 Hi Connitaylor, Craters of the Moon National Monument is a nice place to visit. I've been there before and will be back this summer. Go to http://www.nps.gov/crmo/index.htm and check it out.
0 skyking8 Report post Posted May 25, 2011 I work camped for the US Forest Service in ID. And there is plenty of National Forest in the state. It's a great state to visit. Many outdoor rec people like to visit the central section of the state. Coeur d'Alene is always a favorite destination for many. Depending on where you select, you'll have some mountain driving so plan for it. Here's a nice site that may help you plan. http://www.visitidaho.org/things-to-do/

0 bairman Report post Posted June 10, 2011 We stayed in McCall Idaho for 5 days at a campground on the river and it was great. This area is nothing short of spectacular with rafting, hiking etc.
