carolinanomads Report post Posted June 25, 2011 Just wanted to pass on good results from a shop in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am passing through and needed an alignment. Googled this shop: Alignment Specialists 2141 Sharp Circle, Salt Lake City, UT 84119-1464 (801) 972-1105 The front had too much toe in and the rear was 15 degrees out! My steering wheel was not centered. Two hours later on their 4 wheel alignment equipment they were finished. I was given a computer printout and explained what was wrong along with the bill. $185 for the job. I cannot believe how much better this thing drives! hermanmullins Report post Posted June 25, 2011 A 15 degree on the rear is quite a bit. The rear axle out that much would account for the steering wheel being off. I would bet it was centered before the alignment and off after. With the toe in being out would account for a lot of wandering. How was the tire wear on the front? A lot of cupping? carolinanomads Report post Posted June 25, 2011 wolfe 10 - Drivers side of rear axle was leading passenger side by 15 degrees. Herman - Ride height was checked. Right side front tire was showing wear on the outside edge. I bought this coach used and had never driven a motorhome before, therefore I did not realize how bad it was steering! Jefferson Report post Posted June 20, 2015 Many people go to Meineke or Firestone to fix most of their auto repair issues. But I usually take my cars to local specialists. The price is reasonable but the quality of work is far superior. I recently got my Audi Q3 wheels aligned at one such shop called Steve's Automotive Specialists (2809 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City). They were quick. They explained me exactly what they will do.
