ramblinboy Report post Posted August 14, 2011 My 1999 Flexsteel, 6 way power driver's seat is showing wear - 30K miles. Anyone have fitted genuine sheepskin covers?
ramblinboy Report post Posted December 10, 2011 OK I'll answer my own question-- we bought 2 fitted natural sheepskin seat covers for under 600 bucks - not baaaad eh? Here's the link to the manufacturer: http://www.shearcomfort.com/
C-677946 Report post Posted December 27, 2011 How did you determine the fit?
hermanmullins Report post Posted December 28, 2011 First you get the sheep to sit in your chair. Then you trace the pattern on the sheep. Shear on the lines and glue it to you seat. Simple, no?
ramblinboy Report post Posted December 28, 2011 They fax/email you a measuring guide of at least a dozen sections of your chair. Thats what they use to make the cut. More measurents equal better likelihood of a good fit. The armrests are a separate charge. We first sat on sheepskin in Australia on their double deck buses all seats had them - those who have them swear by them. Hours in the saddle need every advantage you can get IMO.
