Haroldmorris Report post Posted September 16, 2011 I have a 30ft 2004 Holiday Rambler Admiral 8.1 GMC workhorse. The spark plug wire keeps burning off inside the wire at the bend just as it leaves the plug. I have had to replace several of these wires. no fun. Any suggestion on how to fix this problem? billkoboldt Report post Posted November 4, 2011 I have a 2003 Coachmen and had the same problem. Took it to my service center, and at that time it was still under warranty and Workhorse had them install cooling tubes, similar to ram induction hoses. I would add to have the front end (grill end) up and protected from sprayed/splashed water. You don't need to soak your plugs and plug wires driving into hurricane force (60 mph) winds with rain.
