A 5 sp. on the floor.( old school) had the Roadmaster plate put on and thinking of the Falcon2 tow bar. along w/ lights and cables I think I'm set. Trans in Neutral, and the key in accessory do I need to undo the battery? Does this sound right? This will be my frist time towing a toad, need all the help I can get. hermanmullins Report post Posted November 24, 2011 Well, from one old man to another, It looks like you are set. There is one thing I have heard about standard transmissions. I was told by a fellow RVer that allthough he had 4 wheel drive and standard shift on his Chevrolet P/U, he still needed a drive shaft disconnect. He was told that with the drive shaft turning in neutral, his rear bearing was not being oiled and would seize up. Just to be on the safe side why don't you contact your Dodge dealer and check this out. Hope it all works out and you are pulling your toad very soon.
