Travel up the Eastern Seaboard from Florida

Question

We are begining our first adventure and would like to take 3 months and travel up the Eastern Seaboard.  We have never done anything like this before and I really don't know where to begin.  We are 1000 Trails Members and would like to be able to use our membership as often as possible.  Would someone be so kind as to point me in some direction on where to begin?

Where are you starting from and where do you want to end up at the end of that 3 month period?

Is your Thousand Trails limited to TT only because if it is there is very limited coverage on the east coast. We just recently upgraded to all of the parks in the ELS system and now have what looks like good coverage in the east. We stayed at the Chesapeake Bay TT last summer and is a very nice park.

Try route 17 N it hugs the coast till the Bay Bridge. Very scenic, educational as well as a relaxing drive. Once at Rt 64 in Virginia now a choice has to be made, inland (Richmond,DC, and Baltimore) or coastal (Norfolk, Bay Bridge Tunnel and the DELMARVA) Both roads meet back in outside of Wilmington Del. NJ Shoreline to Atlantic City, New York and Long Island is next ( camping on LI is limited). A great trip you will enjoy it, oh and don't forget New England Lots to see and do.

Does anyone have experience or a suggestion with leaving the coach at the ft. Lauderdale airport for a few days or longer?

There's a great RV park just a 1/2 mile from the Ft. Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport. http://www.yachthavenpark.com/

They can also recommend another place locally for short-term storage.
