lylefikse Report post Posted April 22, 2012 We are shopping for Luxury Certified Used cars that can be towed 4 down. Last year we towed a Toyota Avalon on a dolly. Want to go 4 down for convenience. Any hints from people towing a Buick LaCrosse or Lincoln MKS would be helpful. We would like to find a 2010 coming off program to buy this summer. Any problems towing one of these cars? vtbigdog Report post Posted April 23, 2012 Buick has rescinded the ability of a Lacrosse to tow 4-wheels down. That includes the 2010, which I used to own.
lylefikse Report post Posted April 24, 2012 Looks like it will be the Lincoln then. Any Lincoln owners out there? How do they tow?
lylefikse Report post Posted February 1, 2014 After a year, tows great. You do need a charge line or you will have a dead battery.
wayne77590 Report post Posted February 2, 2014 I'm towing a 2013 Lincoln MKX. We have only towed it a couple times since purchasing it and there were no problems. We went with the Blue Ox base plate and tow bar. We drove it 3000 miles without towing it on a separate trip. DW says she doesn't like it because it doesn't make milk shakes. Does everything else though.
lylefikse Report post Posted February 1, 2015 Have towed the MKS over 10,000 miles now with no problems. No more tow dollies for me.
