HenryPatterson Report post Posted May 22, 2012 My front air on my 2011 Monaco DP has a problem. When the air reaches temp, the compressor kicks off but the fan keeps running. The only way to shut fan off is to shut air off at main panel. Any thoughts????
wolfe10 Report post Posted May 22, 2012 Many roof A/C's are designed that way. Does it behave differently than the rear air? If so, THEN I would give Monaco a call. Also, it would help if you tell us what A/C and control panel you have.
five Report post Posted May 23, 2012 On my A/C panel, I can select "A/C auto" which means the A/C and the fan cycle on or off, or I can select "A/C Fan" which means the compressor cycles on and off, but the fan keeps running.
cobrafang61 Report post Posted June 16, 2012 If you have an "auto" and "on" setting as a home thermostat does for the fan operation, then you have a fan relay sticking, it may be a board with a relay too? either way its a fan relay that's sticking, if you tapped it, it would likely stop. It needs replacement.
