Does anyone know if there is a OBD port on the diesels and if there is, where is it? I have a scan guage I used on my gasser that I'd like to use on this. dickandlois Report post Posted June 12, 2012 The set up for the Diesels is different from the OBD2. Most use VSMpc software on there computers with the proper interface box and software. There will be a round 6 or 9 pin connection near the steering wheel. nemo45 Report post Posted June 12, 2012 I called freightliner chassis and the technician told me that I have a 9 pin connector and I saw that under the dash near the steering wheel shaft while I was looking for the OBDII. There is also one in the engine compartment. I then found out that scanguage now makes a scanguageD for diesels with both a 9 pin and 6 pin connector on it.
