JOMKHM Report post Posted July 7, 2012 We own a Chrysler 300 Touring AWD, I have been planning to sell this and buy a Honda CRV but, after some research, found that Remco makes a transmission lube pump for the Chrysler. The car is out of warranty so that is not an issue. Has anyone towed this or a similar car? We own a 2005 Fleetwood Revolution 40C and would have a line from our air brakes installed to activate the toad brakes.
mrd543 Report post Posted July 7, 2012 The main issue I have with lube pumps is they operate on 12v electric. IF for some reason you lose power to the toad the pump quits and within a few miles your transmission is fried. I dont know if there is any indicator available that would tell you in the cockpit that power has been lost back there.
bairman Report post Posted July 7, 2012 The Remco pump is run off of the motor home batteries. There is also a monitor inside the coach that let's you know everything is operating properly.
