A/C Run Off

Recommended Posts

We just replaced out '99 Pace Arrow with a '06 Holiday Rambler, and it seems that when you run the A/C on the roof the water runs down the roof and down the body, on the HR it collects on the slide topper and when you roll up it too runs down the windows and body.

Other than being very irritating, and I'm sure we all have the same problem, but it seems that if you spend the money for quality, this issue could be dealt with at the factory and some type of drain could be designed to stop the moisture from collecting on the roof, this can't be good for the roof in the long run.

Has anyone else tried to deal with this issue???? How did it go or not go??????

Larry,

Congratulations on the new coach.

Does the A/C condensate drain to the same place irrespective of how you level? Most have discovered that by slightly tweaking the leveler sensor that they can force the condensate to a "less obtrusive" side/end of the coach. Also, the use of the small "drain rail extensions" can get water away from the side of the coach.

Completely off subject, but just want to make sure you have had the trailing arms replaced IF the 4 bag Roadmaster suspension. This is not an issue for any of the 8 bag suspensions. Don't know what model coach you bought.

Brett
