Batsome Report post Posted September 24, 2012 I noticed a spot on my RV rubber roof where the bead of sealant was thin and cracked. I want to touch it up but do not know which sealant would be best to use. Can new sealant be added without removing all the older stuff?
billkoboldt Report post Posted September 25, 2012 Remove all the old sealant that you can. Go to your nearest RV dealer and tell them what you are doing. You must use a specefic type of caulk for rubber roofs. There are two types for rubber roofs, one for flat areas and one for sides.
desertdeals69 Report post Posted October 3, 2012 Probably use self leveling Dicor lap sealant.
