Food Chains West Of The Mississippi

A few years ago I read comments either on the GS forum or the FMCA forum about the food super market chains west of the Mississippi. The forum gave state by state and area by area which food markets were the best in pricing, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.

Well, I can no longer find that information, can someone help.

We use Kroger brand which have several local brand stores. Dillons, Smiths, and some others which slip my mind at the moment. Pricing is fair and they have discounts on fuel, depending on how much you spend on groceries.

Mostly you will find excellent shopping at excellent stores without issue. Safeway, Fred Meyer's, Albertson, QFC, Fry's, Smith's, Kroger, Ralph's, Vons as well as the Costco's and Sam's Clubs. You really should not have any issues at all finding good shopping at stores as nice or better than anything you have ever seen on the East Coast.
