dickearlene Report post Posted October 3, 2012 We have a 38 footer and stayed at the Fountaine Bleau State park, no problem with the 40'. It is in Mandeville, LA. It is located on the other side of the lake but a great place. There is a lot to do around the park, Abeta brewery, antique stores, great resturants, historic sites and then there is New Orleans. Dudley Report post Posted October 4, 2012 We have stayed at Bayou Segnette State Park in WESTWEGO LA. It is just south of the Mississippi, and the campground will give you directions to a free ferry into New Orleans, Very nice park.
