She would move heavier books from one side to the other "to balance the load". I explained that to a vehicle that weighs over 15 tons those books won't make a bit of difference. The obsession continued until I said, "OK, to balance the load from now on you have to sit on the floor in the middle aisle." Problem solved. No more side to side distribution complaints. wolfe10 Report post Posted February 17, 2013 While balancing side to side loads can be carried too far, checking them from time to time IS a very good idea. This is particularly true of coaches on air suspensions, as RIDE HEIGHT VALVES, to a large degree determine side to side loading and can get out of adjustment.
