f301359 Report post Posted August 30, 2013 Well, for the third time I will have to take my 2011 F53/Southwind back to Ford. I just got back from a trip across the Midwest and parked the rig for several days and now I have a puddle underneath. On the last two trips to Ford, they said it was overfilled and they corrected it, or so I thought. I wonder what they will say this time. The trans seems to work fine, upshifts and downshifts appropriately, doesn't overheat and at all my rest stops and RV parks, not a drop. The fluid appears to be coming out of the vent on top of the trans case.
desertdeals69 Report post Posted August 30, 2013 It may be overheating. What is the temperature of the fluid? Does it happen after a hard pull?
