kansas Report post Posted September 11, 2013 We plan to remove our icemaker from our four door Norcold refrigerator. Should we expect the unexpected or will it be an easy task? (RV in storage for few more days so don't have it here to 'study'). Thanks for any tips! Model M1200 (We had the warranty recall kit installed this last winter). Thank you for reminding me to post the model number. (I originally had it listed as Dometic, too. Oops)
dickandlois Report post Posted September 11, 2013 Horton, Welcome to FMCA! Do not think there are any real surprises, but how about posting the model of you refrigerator so the group knows and can take a closer look. Rich.
hermanmullins Report post Posted September 17, 2013 Changed ours last year. Took about one hour (learning). I think I could do the next one on half that time. Turn off water. Remove two screws. Slide unit out and down Unplug connection. Slide new unit into fridge. Replug connection position and replace two screws. It is almost that simple but still very easy. Good Luck Herman
