djordan1677 Report post Posted November 22, 2013 Running/Marker light problem. 2003 Monaco Monarch Workhouse chassis. I turn on the marker and/or head lights they work fine. When turned off the marker lights stay on. The only way to turn off marker lights is to remove/replace the 5 amp fuse (engine compartment). ????? What do I check or how do I fix? Would appreciate help.
dickandlois Report post Posted November 22, 2013 Kind of sounds like a relay issue, Did you get any information on the main relay and fuse panel ? What chassis series do you have- W-20 / W-22 / W24 ? When you mentioned the 5 amp fuse, do you have 2 fuses one for the right side and one for the left side? The main fuse for the circuit is generally 20 amps. Now, there is an outside possibility of an open diode in the circuit, used to shunt the counter EMF field generated when a relay coil is discharged. A call to Workhorse Chassis Assistance: 1-877-294-6773 might be in order. Rich.
djordan1677 Report post Posted November 22, 2013 Rich, I have W22 and yes two 5amp fuses left/right. I also checked the 20amp. all are good. I hate electrical problems. I check with WCA tomorrow. Thanks Dennis
dickandlois Report post Posted November 22, 2013 Dennis,There are a number of control modules that come into play in the new wiring layouts. Sounds like the problem is in the supply to the E275 circuit or the BTSI relay. That relay is in the same fuse / relay box as the 5 amp fuses. Keep the forum posted on what you find and Yes electrical issues can be very intimidating. Rich.
