Bike Rack - Where To Put It

Recommended Posts

I have an R-Vision B plus motorhome with a rear door.

I can't put a bike rack on the ladder or on the rear hitch because I won't be able to get the rear door open. My dog goes in and out of the rear door.

So, where can I put a bike rack? We have two bikes.

Thanks,

Rod

You might try putting a class 2 or 3 receiver on the nose of the coach and mounting a bicycle carrier up there. We used a bike rack on the nose of a Chevrolet 3/4 ton van for many years with no problems.

You probably have solved your problem by now.

I had a trailer hitch installed on the front of my Class C Ford E450.

While at first put the bikes there, when I had to go to a 3 wheel bike for the wife, I went to Harbor Freight and purchased a "front porch" that slid into the receiver.

Of course I ended up carrying other items on it as well.

I was wondering about the possibility of getting a bike rack installed somewhere in the parking deck? I think it would be nice to have somewhere

covered and off the street for us to store bikes for short times. I ride my bike every day and bringing it in and out of the condo or storage locker is

quite a hassle.
