monacoman38 Report post Posted January 13, 2014 Has anybody had a problem with the door stop on their motorhome? The metal hinged piece at the top of the door that fastens to the door and the motorhome is loose and I have to reach up and push it with my hand to get it to hinge in the right direction. Could you attach a picture or 2 of you issue. there are some systems / style of connectors / fasteners used that are not as common as others. Also include the Model of your coach. Rich. huffypuff Report post Posted January 14, 2014 Yes Monacoman38 that type of door stop will have a problem if the center pivot pin gets too loose. The only thing you can do is remove it and rap that pin a few times with a hammer on a vise and hope it tighten up. Then it shouldn't overextend the stop. Good luck.
