CarolNancy Report post Posted April 6, 2014 We bought 235/80R/22.5 Yokohama tires from a dealer in Prescott Valley AZ, because we couldn't get Michelins, and when we got the motor home back to the RV Park, I checked the tires and found out they put on 245/75R/22.5. Should have checked before we left the dealership. What, if any, problems might this cause? Thanks for your help. Carol
kaypsmith Report post Posted April 6, 2014 As long as all four tires on the duals are being replaced, shouldn't make any difference. I had to replace mine on the last the same way. The 245X75X22.5 was exactly the same height and circumference as the 235X80X22.5 Michelins, only 10 mm wider each, both require the same width wheel. Thing to look for is that the spacing between the duals remain wide open, ie., they do not touch each other. Kay
wolfe10 Report post Posted April 6, 2014 Correct-- should be no issues as they are very comparable sizes. To my knowledge Michelin is the only one who makes the 235/80R22.5. Everyone else sells 245/75R22.5.
