bigred1cav Report post Posted April 14, 2014 I had the cooling unit replaced in the MH and when I tried to get the LP gas to cool the refer it does not cool. What do I need to do to get the LP in the refer to ignite and cool the refer? Thanks
dickandlois Report post Posted April 14, 2014 Do the other appliances like the Water heater and stove work OK? There could be air still in the gas line feeding the refrigerator and you might need to cycle it a few time. You might open the exterior cover and listen for the gas valve to open and the spark ignition start to spark while someone turns on the fridge, switches to gas if your on shore power. Rich. wolfe10 Report post Posted April 14, 2014 Correct. Tell us how far into the "running on propane" cycle you get. Remove the outside access door and look/listen for the following when someone switches refrigerator from 120 VAC to propane): Do you hear the igniter "clicking"-- for how long (directly at the bottom of the round, vertical "chimney"? Can you feel the gas valve click as it opens (follow the propane line from coach to the valve-- place a finger on it-- should feel a "click" when it opens)? Does a flame appear-- if so, for how long (look in from an angle into the burner area-- particularly easy at night-- look for blue flame)?
