ronbeck Report post Posted July 3, 2014 I need a 10,000-pound tow bar for an Avalanche. Which one is the best for the money?
huffypuff Report post Posted July 4, 2014 Take your pick from the first two depending on which base plate you have. https://www.etrailer.com/partlist/Chevrolet/Avalanche/Tow%20Bars
hermanmullins Report post Posted July 4, 2014 ronbeck, That would depend on what type unit you would like. You didn't say which Avalanche you have. I have the Blue Ox tow bar and base plates on our 2008 Silverado. I installed both myself. My unit has removable pins so when not being towed you can't see any thing on the front. Don't forget the lights and braking unit. I have the M & G Engineering Brake unit and I got my wiring kit from Camping World, which I installed myself. With either Blue Ox or Roadmaster, you can have either tuned up at most Area Rallies and at Nationals. Herman
