FYI, US 97 in Northern California is CLOSED between Weed, CA and Klamath Falls, OR because of the Little Deer fire.

You can check this every hour if you like. Scan down until you see the number you are looking for. Right now it reads:

US 97    [IN THE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AREA]    IS CLOSED FROM 12 MI NORTH OF WEED TO 2 MI SOUTH OF MT HEBRON (SISKIYOU CO)- DUE TO A WILDFIRE - MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO USE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE
