WarzechaT Report post Posted September 1, 2014 I recall reading an article on replacing the water supply line from the solenoid switch to the icemaker, but don't recall if it was in FMCA or Motorhome magazine. I just discovered that I need to replace this line in my Dometic frig, model NDR1292. Any help with locating the article or advice in replacing the line would be greatly appreciated. Hoping it can be done without removing the frig.
huffypuff Report post Posted September 1, 2014 Unfortunately for you to get to the line at the top inlet to the ice maker, you will have to pull the fridge into the RV for access.
wolfe10 Report post Posted September 1, 2014 Yes, in most cases you have to slide the refrigerator either toward or into the inside of the motorhome to gain access. I have done several by just sliding it in about a foot and reaching down from the roof vent to access the top. That way there is no heavy lifting involved.
