royclem Report post Posted March 14, 2015 I've read a lot on the subject of being sure to level RV because of fridge damage when out of level. My question to you all is it alright to drive with the fridge on propane and running? I've done this as We load up with food and drinks before We leave Home. Its more economical and I start the fridge the day before loading it. Am I doing right or am I not supposed to drive while refer is running any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you. wolfe10 Report post Posted March 14, 2015 Yes, it is fine to drive (i.e. up and down hills) with the refrigerator on. It is only operating out of level and not moving that allows the coolant to cease flowing and therefore the boiler temperature to rise. Said another way, the motion of the vehicle keeps it working fine.
