yukiroad Report post Posted April 2, 2015 I'm trying to find out whether a licensed RV dealer is required by law to inform you of the type of license required to operate the RV they are trying to sell you. Unfortunately, it is to late for me. I purchased a 42=foot motorhome and did not know that California requires a Non-Commercial Class B license. I'm in the process of getting one ... not easy. jleamont Report post Posted April 2, 2015 Yukiroad, did you get stopped and cited? or discover it more casually? Just curious.
yukiroad Report post Posted April 2, 2015 No, a fellow RV'er mentioned it in the Pahrump MI rally. But I have been driving for around a year.
wolfe10 Report post Posted April 2, 2015 Certainly not aware of any dealer responsibility (either car or RV) to review licensing requirements. Would it have been a good idea for them to review it-- sure. And, posts like yours serve to inform those looking at motorhomes.
