81redbug Report post Posted July 13, 2015 I tow my Jeep 4 down behind a 40' DP. It has a blue Ox base plate, a blue Ox Aventa towbar, and an NSA Readybrake. Around 60-65 mph it starts swaying or fishtailing. Any troubleshooting ideas? Thanks, Ben
elkhartjim Report post Posted July 14, 2015 Do you experience the dreaded "death wobble" when driving at this speed? This seems to be a fairly common complaint with the early year model TJ's.
kaypsmith Report post Posted July 14, 2015 Make sure the tow bar is parallel with the ground, if it is not, adjust the height of the hitch at the coach to make it parallel. If the hitch is not correct, can cause your described symptoms. And welcome to the forum, Kay
