thingshappen Report post Posted July 16, 2015 Would like to know if it is possible to enter Canada without a brake system to your tow vehicle. Has anyone had this experience?
hermanmullins Report post Posted July 16, 2015 You might check with Rand McNally to see of they have an atlas for Canada. In the U.S. version there is a page with state laws with regards to speeds, lengths and braking requirements. Maybe the Canadian version has the same. britcon Report post Posted July 16, 2015 Likely won't get stopped at the Border, but local police could decide to enforce towing laws. Some provinces also have separate commercial safety officers on the road who would know towing laws better than average police officer.
