mjlayton Report post Posted December 15, 2015 I just purchased a 96 Dolphin on a P30 chassis. Replaced the bell crank on the drivers side now the steering wheel is off center clockwise, so much that the turn signals don't work properly. My 97 Fleetwood on an F53 chassis had an indexed steering wheel and adjustment was made at the pitman arm. Anyone had this done on a Chevy? Thanks
hermanmullins Report post Posted December 15, 2015 MJ, Welcome to the Forum. You should have a drag link off the steering box. There should be an adjustable link and you should be able to center you wheel by adjusting the link. Let me know if this works. Herman
obedb Report post Posted December 17, 2015 Looked up your chassis. Has a lot of parts to even include ball joints. You may need professional help. The bigger stuff that many of the folks here drive have solid I-beam front axles. Very durable and usually outlast the coach. Wish that I could help you.
