mtrhomnut Report post Posted May 5, 2016 I bought this coach 99 Newmar Mountainaire on my last trip the parking lite stayed on even after I pushed in air brake off. It did turn off when I stopped and pulled out and pushed back it turned off. 400 miles later it happened again.is this an indication of a problem. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

wolfe10 Report post Posted May 5, 2016 Yes, if the warning light is ONLY for indication that parking brake is on, it is most likely the pressure switch-- not expensive or difficult. Check with your chassis maker for correct PN. BUT, verify that the light is also not an ABS or brake failure light as well. Again your chassis maker can tell you what faults will trigger what light.
