painterbob62 Report post Posted August 1, 2016 Hi All, I'm having a problem with my rear AC. Compressor runs and fan does not. Also the ac unit runs even when the thermo is in the off position. I moved this unit from the front ( where it worked fine ) to the rear spot and put a new 15k Brisk Air II up front. The new one works fine. I checked the wire set up and they are both wired the same way. I also put a new thermostat in the rear. A 12 volt relay has been mentioned. Where would I look for the relay ? Is it in the control box ? The only way to shut off the AC is to shut off the 120 volt breaker in the panel. Could it be the control unit is warn out ? dickandlois Report post Posted August 9, 2016 Bob, check the low voltage wiring that controls the fan speed and the relay that connects the 120 volts to the compressor. Kind of thinking that compressor relay has power when it is set to the fan only position on the control system inside the coach. Hi and low fan speed normal?
