Need information about campgrounds near Chicago, IL for June 2016. Need rates and public transportation into city information

What are some things we need to know about traveling into Canada -- especially Montreal? What about campgrounds?

Harris Beach State Park at Brookings, OR but I advise going from south to north on Hwy 101, sometimes the outside cliff edge is scary. But you get 4 lanes, 2 lanes and wide spaces between the redwoods, beautiful. Also, if you plan to see San Fran, we stayed at Novato RV Park, close spaces but reasonable, just go to the ferry at Greenbrea not far and ferry over to the city and ride buses or trolleys.

I say Ocean Lakes, with the age group difference. They have a wonderful kiddie pool area and then a larger pool for the older kids, also a game room for the teenagers. If you have a golf cart this will be great there.

Anyone know of campgrounds offering tours to New York City? Or any suggestions how to tour the city from a campground?
